My heart's desire as I began the process of discerning what and how our parish should exercise a capital campaign was to experience something that would be deeper spiritually than the typical "institutional" approach to fund-raising. My prayers were answered. Rather than pressure and a focus on big givers, Stewardship Enrichment joined with me in deepening the discipleship of my flock through the emphasis on prayer and stewardship education. Our consultant, Randy Watts, was a true teammate in leading this parish to a deeper dependence upon the Lord. The result was a congregation that made financial commitments far greater than what a parish our size would expect, and a more spiritually vital congregation.

I am so thankful for the Stewardship Enrichment program we used at our church! It was a blessing to our community as it brought together so many people in the church to work together, pray together, and join in on the work God was doing at our church.

I am so thankful for the Stewardship Enrichment program we used at our church! It was a blessing to our community as it brought together so many people in the church to work together, pray together, and join in on the work God was doing at our church. God used them to challenge us in the next steps as a growing church. Their encouragement and leadership has help us not only in our Campaign, but also in how we connect our church members and others.

I have been blessed to serve as Stewardship Enrichment Campaign Director at two different congregations: Come Alive at the Kingwood Church of Christ in 1997 (Kingwood, Texas), and ReNEWal at the New Braunfels Church of Christ in 2012 (New Braunfels, Texas). Randy Watts was our Consultant in both campaigns. At Kingwood, I was on the search team that recommended Stewardship Enrichment to the Elders.

I have been blessed to serve as Stewardship Enrichment Campaign Director at two different
congregations:

Come Alive at the Kingwood Church of Christ in 1997 (Kingwood, Texas)

ReNEWal at the New Braunfels Church of Christ in 2012 (New Braunfels, Texas)

Randy Watts was our Consultant in both campaigns. At Kingwood, I was on the search team that
recommended Stewardship Enrichment to the Elders. Unbeknownst to me, at New Braunfels, the Elders
had utilized Stewardship Enrichment in a previous campaign in 2002 and had already contracted with
Stewardship Enrichment prior to asking me to serve as Campaign Director. I love the way God works
things!

The season of prayer, sharing of the Elder’s future vision through the communications and Home
Information Sessions, Bible study, testimonies, and more prayer were of significant benefit to both
congregations. Many people including me really learned the power of prayer and the joy of working
toward a “big” goal focused on increasing our touching lives with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Kingwood’s goal was to eliminate debt and then use any other committed funding to renovate the
worship center. The Lord helped Kingwood to accomplish these goals.

New Braunfels’ goal was to complete a new Community Life Center without incurring debt. The Lord
helped New Braunfels accomplish this goal.

To me the above accomplishments were great however the direct physical participation of the majority of
the congregation in each of the campaigns and the spiritual energy that flowed and spiritual growth
from that participation was the real thing that God accomplished.

Last but not least, celebrating the victory that God gave prior to any commitments and contributions was wonderful. We lived out what King David demonstrated when he led Israel in funding and bringing in all the material required to build the temple. It was a special event that will not be forgotten.

I just wanted to say “Thank You” and “God Bless You” for your ministry to our Church. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude. The personal, spiritual, and financial results of our recent Growing with Grace/Stewardship Enrichment Campaign are nothing short of fantastic. By any measurement, you exceeded our wildest expectations.

I want to specifically commend your consultant, Randy Watts. He was perfect in every way. As a consultant myself, I know what it takes to earn client satisfaction. Grace Community Church is a very satisfied client. Randy delivered 110% from start to finish. He fulfilled every promise made in the initial presentation. He walked with us every step of the way. He was there anytime, anyplace, for any reason. We retained a consultant. We received a friend. Randy was nothing short of excellent – a “12” on a scale of 1 to 10.

The Farmers Branch church has just finished the first year of “Enrich the Vision” and I just had to write and tell you how excited I am at what God is doing.

The Farmers Branch church has just finished the first year of “Enrich the Vision” and I just had to write and tell you how excited I am at what God is doing.

Looking back to the four months of the Stewardship Enrichment program several things stand out:

  1. We are thrilled at the biblical approach.

  2. The request to pray for God's will instead of arm twisting.

  3. The learning experience of stewardship.

  4. Commitment to God.

  5. Testimonials – these are not normal for us but 12 men touched our lives as they told of their love for this church and the Lord Jesus Christ.

  6. The commitment of 143 families to give 2.1 million above their regular contribution to do this building project for God.

Looking at today, one year after Celebration Sunday, over 1.3 million has been received. Since we are ahead of schedule, you can see why I am so excited.
